Build confidence and sharpen your curling skills with focused, practical instruction at the Parksville Curling Club. Drawing on years of competitive curling, coaching experience, and knowledge of both traditional and stick curling, Tim can help you develop stronger fundamentals and make smarter decisions on the ice.
Offered every Friday at 4:00 p.m. for one to four people, this personalized training can focus on delivery mechanics, rock placement, weight control, line of delivery, and release. Basic strategies, such as playing with or without the hammer, protecting a lead, and creating opportunities to steal, are also discussed.
Learn to read the ice and adjust to changing conditions and outside factors from the ice man himself. Whether you are new to curling, returning to the game, or looking to refine specific skills, these small-group sessions offer an approachable way to improve.
Proceeds go to the club, but you get to keep all the tips and tricks. Space is limited, so sign up early to reserve your spot.
