A successful Stick Bonspiel was held on December 9-11, 2022 with 24 teams participating. There were teams from Qualicum, Nanaimo, Courtney and Parksville.
The winners of the A Event were Brian Scorer and Cliff King.
Other event winners were Dennis Cassidy and Allan Dines – B Event.
Steve Webb and Blaine Denesyk – C Event,
Brad Childe and Craig Turnbull – D Event,
Rita Beny and Neville Hircock – E Event, and
Spish Legoski and Justin Thorpe – F Event
The runner up in the A Event was George Wallis and Larry Uglene from Parksville Curling Club. It is important to note that Larry Uglene has only been stick curling for one month!
