One day — two countries. Who will win?

Qualicum Curling Centre and Parksville Curling Centre are one of 18 stops on the Scottish Women’s Canadian Curling Tour. We are thrilled to host 24 women curlers who will compete against 24 Oceanside women curlers in a friendly competition.

Games will be held at 2:00 pm at each curling centre and then all curlers and guests will come together for a gala dinner at 7 pm in the Community Hall in Qualicum Beach. Everyone is welcome to watch the games and attend the dinner.

The Canada to Scotland Friendship Tour is a longstanding tradition that fosters cultural exchange and international goodwill through the sport of curling. Dating back to 1955, the Friendship Tour has allowed thousands of curlers to play games in hundreds of different locations throughout Scotland and Canada, strengthening relationships between the two countries and its citizens.

Admission is free to watch the games; tickets to the gala dinner are $40 each. The dinner includes a delicious buffet, socializing with the players, and entertainment by local musicians.

Bring a friend. Everyone welcome!
