PPC had a great day Saturday February 24th as more than 30 curlers took to the ice enjoying 4 end games with crazy scoring rules! Members tried doubles, 6 pack , sturling and stick games. Folks brought enough food for our pot luck that the tables were groaning. We participated in Curling Canada's Big Shootout with approx 25 curlers trying 3/5 times to hit the pin exactly. Pretty challenging to get exactly on that pin!! But Sussana Coumadin’s was able to get us one shot exactly on the pin and there were many others in the 4 foot.
A terrific time was had by all. Many thanks to the sponsors and our always terrific volunteers who assisted.

We have some new Sturling Leagues that play pretty much the same game.
We have some new Sturling Leagues that let you play either slide or stick ... just don't change in the middle of the game.
... Sturling ....
Thursday mornings and Friday afternoons
The PCMCA (Pacific Coast Masters Curling Association) has provided our local representative Rick Dunn with some updated statistics and results. See Rick for details, but we are well represented for a club and city of our size. Our club has more men participating than any other member club in BC except Nanaimo, and more women than any other member club except Nanaimo, New Westminster (Royal City), and Chilliwack. Cick the image for demographics.
PCC was once again well represented at the 2024 Canada Day parade.
Thanks to the volunteers who decorated the float and participated in the Canada Day Parade:
Robert, the co-ordinator of all things, Donna and Bob, Tony and Doris, Zach and Doreen and Rod who patiently and determinedly decorated the Float
Ross, our driver and Sandra and Daryl our banner carriers and Donna, Alex , Robert and Susan for distributing our bookmarks.
